Celebrations continue with fevered activity including:-

Reporters at scene, interviewed one Developer, "Today is also the day that the Morphix build box comes on line" said paul_c.
Annual Events are expected to commemorate this day.
Rumors are circulating on the Internet, that developers who made a cvs commit on or around the 5th September will be eligible for a free celebratory T-Shirt.

Its the brand new LiveCD made in Brendan's case, try IcewmGUI today.
Its white! It Zigs! It Zags! It uses base 0.5pre5!
Built by downloading the latest base and autobuilt-icewm-mainmodule snapshot - see autobuilds.
The mainmodule was generated using a one line command:-
mmaker ./verylightgui.xml ./verylightgui-2005-09-25_0809.mod

New Laptop

I got my new laptop today. The dvd/cd/writer is actually a powered USB device. Morphix 0.4/0.5 did not boot - this will be fixed in time.
Ubuntu booted. Its installed, in less than half an hour. Wireless, suspend to ram work. 'It just works'. Breezy has won me over. nice one Ubuntu.
Jure - thanks for the tip. It just works. The easiest operating system I have ever installed.
