I have a new job, same place, promotion.
Team Leader Contractual Maintainance (Fault Control Centre)
Direct and control a team of nine staff, dealing with complaints about defective traffic control equipment from the Police, Local Borough Officers, Members of the Public, Internal clients and any other body requiring assistance. Manage the operational and contractual maintenance aspects of the Fault Control Centre to ensure that the traffic signal and LDIS maintenance contracts meet the specified performance targets.
All your bases^H^H^H^H^H, Traffic Signals belong to me. As there are only ~ 4,800 Traffic Signal locations in London it should give me busy for a while.

- No longer running the Graduate Electronic Engineering Scheme
- No more development work, e.g. GHOST more GHOST
- No longer have Derek as my Boss.

The BBC has a story (and real audio video) about a Pill Cam, from Given Imaging. Which is swallowed to show pictures inside the gut (ra). The capsule is the size of a large multi-vitamin tablet and takes two digital images per second of the lining of the intestine. The Pill Cam takes about seven hours to journey through the body. I just got a new wifi card fro my Zaurus. (Ebay - 10 GBP). I can now run Kismet, 200 years after Trafalgar nevermind... hardy get-it?
Anyway to my shock in Chaucer Road, there are lots of wireless networks.
