Hacking - with a Sewing Machine.

Following on from my Wonderful Zaurus SL-C3000 case, Allyson showed (or should that be sewed) me how to use her sewing machine.
I hacked together a new nappy wipe and a bib.
Quite a fun evening.

What was meant to be a great day for London to celebrate has turned in to a nasty day. Its was bad, people have died and more people will die.
This makes me angry. On the other hand the terrorists (Freedom fighters?) will not win. With respect to our American friends. We will not over-react and go on a mad bomb spree. We have faced the IRA (funded by whom?). Our emergency services responded in a magnificent way, setting up field hospitals at and around the stations. Using double decker buses to ferry patients to hospitals and serious injuries by ambulance.
The good points,
- People still laugh - "I know the french did not win, but I did not expect them to take it that badly".
- People learn to commute by walking.

We all left our offices and stood in the street, London stopped at noon.
