Finding time to blog, sleep, eat is fun. [That last sentence took a 1/2 hour ...]

Had lots of birthday presents on Saturday. Including a Unicycle - Thanks Allyson. Many years ago I used to ride a unicycle and just like riding a bike you never forget, you just get very very rusty. Also I need to shorten the stem on the seat - but it is good exercise. Got some cool laptop accessories (mini-mouse), also got got some see-though cards, [mainly transparent plastic but will the plain logos on the back covering card value... heck a photo is worth a thousand words...] - Thanks Helen and Donna.

This really was a special day. It was Allyson and mine - 6th wedding anniversary. The weather was lovely, and I spent time with my Wife, my Son, my Dad and my step-Mother.

A day I remember fondly for some time.

Put together all of the ikea furniture today. Lost one set of instructions, to my surprise the instruction are not available for download, which I can not understand. Yesterday I even downloaded an obscure bike pump manual (value Assembly). Come in Ikea.

Hmm back to work, but only for one day on Thursday. Poker on Friday, sleep next year. Not answered any questions on the Morphix forum for a while, from the quick peek I just looked at the quality of surport could be improved.

Wow it been a long time since I blogged, but as I have now restored my Zaurus I can easily blog on the move. (More on Zaurus restore later - good guides are available, after lots of googling.)

First off - blogging while in Hinckley awaiting take-away Pizza. We popped up to Hinckley to see surprise Connors Grand-parents. Alas this means no Internet apart from Putty on Nokia.

Sorry Alex et al, I thought I was down loading the Morphix.org back-up every week, via a cron job. I was d/loading, confirmed by my logs, but I had the options incorectly set in wget. So the old version was retained every time. Sorry. RTFM - man wget

Managed to burn-out an ebayed-LCD by not using the correct PSU - I suppose I should have consulted a competent electronic engineer.

Still half in and half out of the office on Paternity leave, next week off to traffex. Kudos to my boss for suggesting (and allowing) that I phase out my Paternity leave (plus annual leave) slowly, i.e. backing 1 day a week then 2 days then 3 days ....

Connor is now big enough to wear his proper re-usable nappies. Very impressed with these nappies from littlelamb.co.uk Still using environmentally friendly disposable nappies for when we go on long trip but mainly using the re-usable fluffy cotton nappies.

Long blog post, but catching up on blog post convert quick drafted notes to real posts. Connor can keep me very busy.

Connor had visitors:- 2nd Cousins (Angela and Brian), Uncle and Aunts (Malcolm and Sharon) and Great-Grandparents:-

Also had some cool presents such as Leafs t-shirt.

Allyson went up-town with Angela and Brian today - so I spend the whole day with Connor - bonding.

John and Sian popped in to see Connor as well. (Photos to follow), must try to catch some sleep.

Zaurus now running xfce4, with X server on Qt, quite cool.
